Sad to say, these superficial expressions have also influenced the Queer World itself, where Kink amounts to little more than drag. The image of leather he-men entering a space and then revealing themselves to be little more than nelly queens in talk and manner becomes the stock-in-trade of those who insist upon trivializing gay behavior that they do not understand.
